I love my running skirts, so Autumn brings contrasting feelings for me as I have to give up the running skirts for now, but I get to wear awesome leggings instead. But the silver lining is that a lot of running skirts are on sale, like this one from Mirelle marked down from £59 to £20.65! Bargain!
Mirelle gave me this one to test out and give some feedback just as the summer was ending but we have been lucky up north to be experiencing some gorgeous days, just warm enough still to get out in a skirt. The white sets off my holiday tanned legs nicely so might as well make the most of that too.
A cute skirt, it has built in shorts and side pockets. The skirt is made from a lightweight and breathable fabric, and the undershorts are slightly more supportive. Very comfortable on with a flattering waistband and sits at a comfortable length. The shorts don’t have the grippy seam that I have had in Lululemon skirts before so they do move up to a natural position on your thigh above your natural curve. I haven’t run longer than 13miles in this so unsure as to whether it would chafe with longer distances but it was all good for 13 miles worth. The pockets are loose, but do hold a key without it bouncing out as they are fairly deep and angled pockets so a key sits in there nicely, and I used it to stash my lightweight gloves and a buff as well.
